First session

What your first session looks like

After you connect, the work should feel like a guided conversation — not a black box. Here is what to expect.

  1. Connect and say hello

    Your assistant orients you around this workspace — what is already filed, and what you can work on today.

  2. A guided conversation in plain language

    It explains what it is doing and why as it goes, so you can follow along and steer.

  3. Honest output, nothing invented

    Anything unverified is flagged. Gaps stay gaps — the assistant never fills them with made-up figures.

  4. Filed in your portal, ready for next time

    Finished work is saved with a link you can reopen. The next session picks up where you left off.

Install

Add the connector to your assistant

You need a Catalyzing Concepts account first. After signup, paste the connector address into your assistant — we recommend Claude for now (ChatGPT works too, on the web only). Same instructions live in the portal under Settings → Assistant.

  • ClaudeRecommended

    A connector links Claude to this workspace so it can work with your projects on your behalf — securely, and only for the company you connect it to.

    1. Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
    2. Choose to add a custom connector.
    3. Name it Catalyzing Concepts, and paste the connector address shown below into the URL field.
    4. Confirm, and approve the workspace access Claude asks for.

    If Claude says it could not determine the server settings and offers to set the connector up by hand, you can still finish. Leave authentication as Always required, and for the client option choose to register one automatically rather than the recommended hosted-metadata option — our server issues your credentials on the spot, and the hosted option cannot complete the connection.

  • ChatGPT

    A connector links ChatGPT to this workspace so it can work with your projects on your behalf — securely, and only for the company you connect it to.

    1. Open ChatGPT in your web browser and go to Settings, then Security and login.
    2. Turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT will not let you add your own connector until this is on.
    3. Go to Settings, then Plugins, and select the plus button to add a new one.
    4. Name it Catalyzing Concepts, add a short description, and under Connection paste the connector address shown below — including the /mcp on the end.
    5. Create the connection, sign in when Catalyzing Concepts asks, and approve access to your workspace.
    6. Check that the list of tools appears — that is how you know the connection took.

    Two things trip people up here. Developer mode has to be on first, and whether you can turn it on at all depends on your ChatGPT plan and your workspace policy — if the setting is missing, that is why. ChatGPT also moved this screen more than once, so if the names do not match what you see, look for Plugins or Apps under Settings. Claude stays our recommendation: fewer steps, and nothing to switch on first.
